Here are few simple home remedies to prevent cold in winter
- Have herbal tea with properties of ginger ,black pepper, tulsi ,clove and cinnamon.
- Drink warm water,whenever you feel thirsty,sip slowly
- At night before getting to sleep have warm milk with half teaspoon of turmeric powder, (haldi vala doodh) since turmeric has antiviral and anti bacterial properties.
- Have some warm mustard oil massage on soles of the feet before sleeping at the night.it also helps in good and peaceful sleep.
- You can have massage on your head( champi )also with mustard oil.
- Have hot home made soup.
- Gargle with warm water whenever u feel like.
- Garlic is also one of the more famous home solutions for cold,you can have raw garlic or u can mix it in your favourite soup.
- Honey is also a popular remedy of cold and cough,honey may work by coating and soothing an irritated throat and it’s believed to have antioxidant and antibacterial effects.
